Friday the 13th Can be Lucky
for Some
A new arrival at The Home of Rest for Horses in Buckinghamshire is in need of a name.
"We've nick-named her Lucky because she was brought to us on Friday January 13 but such a pretty pony deserves a better name," says the Home's PR manager Susan Lewis.
"The 14-hand elderly pony was found dirty and starving in a field. This very pretty bay is suffering from anaemia and a poor liver function but we are confident that
with a lot of tender loving care she will pull through and have many long and happy years to look forward to with her new friends in the Chiltern Hills.
